No. Comparing offers on MidNorth Key uses a soft inquiry, which has zero impact on your credit score. A hard inquiry only happens if you choose to formally apply with a lender.

How does MidNorth Key make money?

Lenders pay us a referral fee when a consumer connects with them through our site. The fee is the same whether you take their offer or not — so we have no incentive to push one lender over another. Full detail on our How we make money page.

Are these rates real or just teasers?

Rates shown on category pages are the lender's published lowest qualifying APR. Your final offer depends on credit, income, loan amount, and other factors verified at application.

Why ask my income / credit / property type?

So we only show offers you actually qualify for. A lender's lowest rate may require a 740+ FICO and 20% down — there's no point showing it to a borrower who doesn't fit. Better matches mean fewer denials and less wasted hard pulls.

Will I get spam calls and texts?

Only from lenders you choose to apply with — and only if you've checked the consent box on the application form. We never sell your contact info to third-party data brokers.
